# Account, Email, and Password

In this section, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding your access and account security.

# What is my username?

To log in to the platform, you generally use your registered email address.

  • Which address is the right one? If you have multiple email addresses, please use the one where you received your original login details or the one you used for self-registration.
  • Changing the address: You can view and update your email address at any time in the My Account section.

# What can I do if I forgot my password?

Don't worry, you can reset your password yourself at any time.

  1. Click the "Forgot password" link in the login dialog.
  2. Enter your registered email address and the displayed text verification (Captcha).
  3. Answer your personal security question.

Important Note on the Security Question

You defined your security question yourself during your initial login. You can change it at any time under "My Account". If you no longer know the answer to your question, please contact our support team directly.

Right Server?

If the security question displayed is not the one you expect, you may be on the wrong system. Please check the address shown in your browser. It must match the web address used during your registration.

# Why is my account locked?

For your security, an account is temporarily deactivated if the password has been entered incorrectly 10 times in a row. This protects your account from unauthorized access attempts (brute-force attacks).

  • Duration of the lock: The lock is automatically lifted after one hour.
  • Next steps: Please wait for this period to pass before making a new login attempt or requesting a new password.
